Historic Fort Riley, home of the U.S. Army’s 1st Infantry Division (The Big Red One), serves 15,000 soldiers, 18,000 family members and 31,000 retirees and veterans.
Each year, approximately 2,400 soldiers transition from active duty out of Fort Riley, giving our region the opportunity to retain a highly trained, highly disciplined and highly loyal workforce.
